Triplets Meeting

Prior to our latest checkup, we met with a family who has triplets. The mom, Holly learned of our website from her mom. They gave us 14 containers of formula ! Holly said she wanted to help out another triplets mommy. Thank you so much to Holly and her family- this formula will be put to good use. Along with the formula Holly and her mom had some great triplets advice. Holly had her triplets at the same hospital we are having ours at.

I plan on staying in touch with Holly- and I hope to pass on some triplets goodness to another triplet mom some day like Holly did for us.

It was so nice meeting her and her family. Her triplets are just beautiful. She has boy, boy, girl.  Lilly had fun playing with the little ones in the sand box. It gave us an idea of what to expect. Thanks again Holly !

There are at least three other triplet families in our town, but we haven’t really spent much time with them, unfortunately. (There’s just no time!)

Here are some tips for when your babies are born: Buy zip-up one piece outfits, it makes dressing them so much easier and quicker (pajamas, winter clothing). Button-up outfits take the longest to put on. (Snaps are easier than buttons.)

Buy liquid soap and moisturizer with pump dispensers. Why? B/c you’ll need one hand to hold the baby in the bath and will only have one hand free to get the soap, moisturizer.

Even with the triplet discount and multiple coupons for other brands, Wal-mart White Cloud brand diapers are still the cheapest.

Desitin diaper-rash creme/powder may burn your baby’s bottom. This didn’t happen to our triplets, but to a friend of ours’ and I’ve read about other cases on Amazon.com. We use Balmex. Look into other brands too.

Line up help for the first two months: Your parents, parents-in-law, sisters, brothers, friends, church friends, neighbors, anyone you trust who offers. Don’t turn anyone down! You will need round-the-clock help for the first six weeks at least, believe me!

Aunt Bobbie | June 22, 2007 at 3:32 am

Hi All, I think of you often and pray that things continue to go well for all of you. How is the upstairs remodeling coming along? How is Lilly doing with all the excitement? I doubt that you’ll be at your Grandmas 80th birthday party. We’ll all be thrilled to hear when the happy day arrives. Hang in there!! Love, Aunt Bobbie
