I have 2 minutes to write this post quick -
We had our ultrasound yesterday- Everything looked wonderful and signs indicated that we may go a few more weeks. Then Jenell’s urine test came back and it showed a high level of protein- this along with the fact that her blood pressure was higher than normal means should could have preeclampsia.

Jenell stayed the night at the hospital as they monitored her blood pressure and urine. They are running some tests today to determine the next steps. If she has severe preclampsia which could lead to seizures- the only solution is to deliver. Hopefully it wont be severe, because besides this the babies and Jenell are doing great and we could probably go a few more weeks. If we’re forced to deliver- we are at the average date for triplets to be delivered- actually in 6 hours based on the countdown timer I have on the website.
I went to my 27th week ultrasound yesterday. It was nice, my Dad and Sue came all the way down from Minnesota and took me there. Lilly was so good the whole way there and during the appt.
The Dr. said the babies are doing great. Their heartbeats are really strong and the fluid around them is good. They couldn’t tell me how big they are- next appt they will tell me. They are very active, all of the time.
When they were doing the ultrasound everyone could see how active they were. Baby A-Alyssa (maybe) is at the bottom with her head to my left, baby B and C Emma (maybe) are head down with there bottems directly in the middle of my chest area, hence all the pain. I feel them all the time.
Kerry and I are saying I wonder if they are hurting each other in there, if I can feel this much they must be kicking each other too! Oh and baby C was posing for us she opened her mouth a few times as to say “Hi, I see you” So, they are doing perfect and so am I besides all the pain all over and so over swollen feet.
Its all worth it, I hope they stay in there as long as possible, lots of women tell me I am doing great for 27 weeks, most of them are were on hospital or drs orders 100% bedrest! God is surely blessing the Mann Family!
After the ultrasound we went to see my Aunt Elayne- it was great seeing her.
Yesterday May 26th we had a big scare! Kerry had to rush me to the hospital all the way in Milwaukee. I was having contractions, not severe but enough to get my attention. I have been feeling a lot of pain these past weeks and have been scared of going into premature labor. After we arrived at Froedert, they checked us in right away which was really nice. They were quick to put me on fetal monitors to check the babies heartbeats and check my cervix. (more…)
