(Kerry Here)

I had a nice surprise during lunch at work on Friday. My coworkers shuffled into the room with cases and cases of diapers and wipes- over 1000 diapers ! It was quite a surprise. Thanks again to everyone at Netconcepts. I couldn’t ask for a nicer group of people to work with ! Everyone has been very nice and supportive.

Jenell said “WOW” when she saw me enter the house with a few cases of these diapers… “this isn’t even half of it!” I said….

Thanks Again– I will hold some of these diapers aside for each one of you to come over and personally change ! 17 days left until triplets

Prior to our latest checkup, we met with a family who has triplets. The mom, Holly learned of our website from her mom. They gave us 14 containers of formula ! Holly said she wanted to help out another triplets mommy. Thank you so much to Holly and her family- this formula will be put to good use. Along with the formula Holly and her mom had some great triplets advice. Holly had her triplets at the same hospital we are having ours at.

I plan on staying in touch with Holly- and I hope to pass on some triplets goodness to another triplet mom some day like Holly did for us.

It was so nice meeting her and her family. Her triplets are just beautiful. She has boy, boy, girl.  Lilly had fun playing with the little ones in the sand box. It gave us an idea of what to expect. Thanks again Holly !

We went to the Dr yesterday (Tues) for an ultrasound and check up. I’m so happy to say we made the 29 week point, today!

The Dr. is amazed on how well the babies and I are doing. Thank you everyone for the comments and prayers, keep them coming! The Dr. said I am doing as good as can be expected, and that I couldn’t be doing any better.

The babies weigh 2.6 , 2.8 and 2.10 lbs.

My only ongoing issue is the swelling, my feet and legs are terrible…

We go in again in two weeks then every week until they are born, hopefully not soon! I will keep you all updated!

We got SOOO much done this weekend.

Thank you Jason, Kurt and Aunt Mary for all of your help this weekend. For those of you who don’t know, Jason is Kerry’s cousin. Jason is an electrical genius- he has been rewiring houses since he was a little kid. He and his friend Kurt helped Kerry finish the electrcial work in our new bathroom – and they did a wonderful job.

If that wasn’t enough they decided to help us tear out the old carpet in our dining room – and then we moved onto the carpet in the living room. The carpet in the dining room needed to be replaced and we planned on turning the dining room into a play room for Lilly and the triplets. As for the living room Kerry wanted the carpet out because he wanted to use the hardwood floors beneath.

I cant say it enough- thank you guys so much.

After Jason, Kurt and Mary headed back (all the way to Cedarburg– thanks again :) )– Kerry went to work on the hardwood floors. We were going to just clean the floors off really good but Kerry decided to rent a floor sander. He mopped the floor- sanded it into the wee hours of the night- He also put in all of the baseboard trim and finished by staining/sealing the floor ! He did it all in one day/evening/ night! I woke up the next morning to beautiful hardwood floors.

The floors were all done on Saturday. Kerry went back to work on Sunday in the dining room. He sealed the floor in the dining room. Then he went and bought some carpet (without my approval- but it looks good !) – It was a big piece of carpet like 12 x 22 feet and he carried it up and in the house all by himself. And he installed it all by himself. Our former dining room is now a playroom for Lilly and the triplets. Its so nice to have a place to put the baby stuff we have been accumulating.

Thanks to everyone for your help ! We uploaded several pictures of this weekends projects. See all of the pictures here- Project Pictures

The triplets room is almost complete. We put a lot of work into it. It’s still a Classic Pooh theme from when Lilly was in there. Kerry put up a large shelf rack and we are in the process of organizing and stocking it.

Lilly’s new room is all done. It’s freshly painted and we moved the bed in and all of her toys.

Kerry and my brother Tony managed to clean out our master bedroom (attached to the bathroom project)last week. Kerry finsihed the wall seperating the bathroom construction area so I have my bedroom back. But I’m avoiding stairs so I will probably stay downstairs. But it’s good to know its livable in there for when the triplets arrive. And it’s so much nicer than before, especially once the bathroom is finished.

Kerry and his dad worked on the bathroom some more this weekend. Thank’s Grandpa ! They ran electrical wire through the walls to the new circuit breaker panel they put in last time. They also put up insallation in our attached garage. They installed the bathroom ceiling fan/light/heater and exhaust too.

Today Kerry is working on patching the hole in the living room ceiling from last weekends accident.

There are a lot of multiples and triplets parents reading our blog- Thanks for the support. I’m into so many groups on yahoo and now just found one called the Triplet Connection. You can post messages and read other peoples questions and comment on them. I have received lots of great comments and suggestions from parents of multiples. Thank you to all of you!

Here is my question for today:

How have other triplets’ moms out there handled bottle feeding ?

I have heard some people say they prop their babies up and feed them– this sounds scary ! Whats the best way to feed them and how did you do it?
