Lilly Goes to School
3 Comments | Posted by Jenell in Lessons, Lilly, Miscellaneous, News, support
Starting on Monday, Lilly will be attending the Milwaukee Montessori School.
She will be attending half days in the mornings. This will help us out so much- currently one of us watches Lilly and the other is with the girls throughout the day. Coupled with the fact that Kerry is still working remotely on some projects AND he has been sick and unable to see the girls the last 2 days- it has been very dificult.
The school is great, they teach the toddlers art, music, dance- how to button their coats! they have play time outside. What we really like is that they have set routines everyday. The kids really get into a routine- which will be great for Lilly during this very chaotic time.
All of this was made possible unexpectedly, and by someone on the other side of the world ! Lilly’s aunt Holly- who lives in Thailand wanted to help out. Not an easy task from the other side of the world. Turns out this will help us more than if Holly was here standing next to us. It will give Lilly interaction with kids and give us time with the triplets. And to top it off , the school is less than a mile from the hospital.
It’s not easy to get into this school (it is a private school- not a daycare) especially as the summer programming only has 1 month left. Holly arranged the entire thing and she is paying for it too.
THANK YOU SO MUCH HOLLY !

(Kerry Here) The baby names poll received 346 votes ! (look to the right of this) . This is pretty good considering no one can vote twice. This website has quite the following now… We had a few spikes in traffic (250 visits/day, 375/day and 450 visits/day) and we are averaging a little over 100 visits a day. Not bad for a personal website.
Regarding the poll- It turns out we were pretty stuck on Alyssa, Katie and Emma regardless of the poll- but the voters agreed ! I want to put up another poll but I don’t have the brainpower to think of anything worthwhile. That is where you come in- Any ideas for a good poll to replace the baby names one?
Please leave a comment below. Thanks !

Off to the Hospital again today

For the second time this week (and the fourth day) we went back to the hospital this morning.
My symptoms are getting worse and it’s harder for me to hang on, but I know that is the best thing for these precious girls. I have severe heartburn, swollen feet and legs, headach, my blood pressure is high, I only got 2 hours of sleep last night-not to mention diagnosed gallstones and pre-clamcia- to top it off I can hardly breath (which is why I went in this morning.) The doctor gave me some Tylenol… that combined with a different sitting position seemed to help me get my breathing back.
I don’t know how I’m making it, besides Kerry, Lilly and our supportive family. My Aunt Elayne is taking such good care of us as we bunker down at her house for the weekend until our appt on Monday. I’m on 100% full bedrest- I can only get up to use the bathroom/shower. Kerry is working from home now until we deliver- He is going to work and help with Lilly throughout the day. The company he works for has been overwhelmingly supportive as well.
We still need to go in on Monday for a checkup again. Today they checked the babies again, with an ultrasound. They said I’m doing great and should be proud of myself, which I am in a way I guess. He also said that the babies look really healthy, they have good fluid around them, there heartbeats are really strong and they all are practicing breathing, which is a miracle to watch. So thats, that, I will keep all of you updated on how the girls and myself are doing. Thanks everyone for reading.
My goal is still 36 weeks- hopefully no more surprise doctor visits.

Jenell’s Hospital Stay
1 Comment | Posted by Jenell in Dr. Appt, Lilly, Miscellaneous, Triplet group, Triplets, Update
Hi everyone- I am finally released from the hospital, but I’m put on permanent bed-rest. It was a long 3 days and I’m so happy to be out. Lilly, Kerry and I are staying at my aunts house because it’s close to the hospital if we need to go back. She is a life saver, Kerry and Lilly have been here while I was in the hospital, she loves her aunt and cousin Jason…I am scared of what is to come next.
Like Kerry said in the last post, I have mild preclamsea which could lead to me delivering any time now. My blood pressure has been high and I had high protein in my urine. I also had two horrible, horrible steroid shots for the babies to speed up the development of there lungs in case we have to deliver early. Today I’m at 32 weeks and 1 day, we are hoping to go to 36 weeks. I’m not sure how much longer my body is going to let me go. I am pushing myself to the limit with everything, meaning this is a hard pregnancy.
I’m taking it easy though, Kerry and Lilly are so good to me and now my aunt is taking great care of all of us! I don’t know where I would be without them. Hopefully everything will go well with the rest of the pregnancy. I’m holding in as long as I can, but each day is getting harder.
Thank you everyone for supporting me, especially the girls on my yahoo groups! Some of them had called me at the hospital to reassure me that everything will be OK. I’ll write again when I can, our next apt is on Monday and hopefully they will tell me some good news! So good bye for now! Continue to pray for us! Thanks
(Kerry here)
A women recently delivered BBB triplets and they were spontaneous just like us. The added surprise is they are identical. When this women was delivered the news of triplets she said, “I was smiling from ear to ear. I thought I’d won the jackpot.” Read her identical triplets story.
Our triplets could be 1 in a million too! (they are to us either way
)
To have identical triplets you need:
Triplets
Same Gender
Same Genetic Matieral
We know we have met 2 out of 3 of the requirements! The funny thing is we could deliver identical triplets and not even know it. Sometimes the only way to tell is with a DNA test. Identical siblings arise where one egg is fertilized and the resulting zygote splits into more than one embryo. Another possibility is there was 2 eggs and one split twice, resulting in two identicals and one fraternal.
We are scheduled to be interviewed by the Rockford News this weekend. I told Jenell they could headline the story:
“The odds are 1 in a Million. Will this Beloit couple deliver ?”
